ONE-ON-ONE COACHING
For those
employees involved in workplace harassment complaints, individual
coaching sessions may be one step in resolving a complaint and preventing
it from happening again.
Coaching
sessions focus on educational and problem-solving strategies. Employees
review their responsibilities under an organizationās
workplace harassment policy and identify how their specific behaviour did not meet these standards. Next,
strategies are discussed for changing any unacceptable behavioural patterns, now and in the future.
A
comprehensive set of materials related to workplace harassment are
reviewed and given to the employee.
Finally,
a letter is sent to the organization for record-keeping purposes. This
letter outlines the content covered during the session and the outcome of
it.
Most
employee coaching sessions may be covered in 1-2 hours.
